Thursday, February 9th, 1832.

The petition of Selectmen of Bangor, for remuneration for expenses of Oliver Leonard and Sarah Leonard, was read and referred to the committee on Claims. Sent down for concurrence.

The Remonstrance of the town of North Yarmouth against the petition of William Sawin and others was read and referred to the committee on Turnpikes, Bridges, and Canals, in concurrence.

Order from the House of Representatives, instructing the committee on Claims to enquire into the Justice and expediency of authorizing a suitable compensation to be paid to Obadiah Hill for his attendance of the Legislature, in the year 1830, read and passed, in concurrence.

Memorial of certain Trustees of Fryburg Academy was read and referred to the committee on the Judiciary, in concurrence.

Remonstrance of certain inhabitants of Dearborne, against the petition of Henry Bichford for a pension, was read and referred to the committee on Military Pensions, in concurrence.

The petition of Leonard Mr. Parker, for the passage of a Resolve was read and referred to the committee on the Judiciary in concurrence.
