Bill - An Act to increase the Capital Stock of Casco bank, was read 1st & 2d time and Tuesday next at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading.

Resolve for the preservation and repair of the Canada was read a 2d time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Bill - to increase the Capital Stock of the Calais Bank was read 1st & 2d time & Tuesday next at 10 o'clock assigned for a 3d reading.

Resolve providing for the purchase and distribution of the northern Shepherd, was read a 2d time and passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill - An Act additional to an act to incorporate the town of Naples, laid on table by Mr Potter of Sebago, was read 1st & 2d time and referred to the Committee on Finance.

Resolve authorizing the appointment of Auditors to investigate the unsettled accounts of Lottery Managers, came from the Senate, that body nonconcurring the House in their vote of this morning committing the same with instructions - The House recede from their vote aforesaid - and before any further question was taken thereon the House adjourned until afternoon.
