Petition of Samuel Lowder for an additional act, incorporating Meadow Brook Dam Company, was read and referred to the Committee on Turnpikes Bridges, and Canals, in concurrence.
Order from the House instructing the Committee on State Lands to inquire into the expediency of providing for the sale of lands, reserved in the townships of land sold by this State, or which hereafter may be sold, and the avails of said Sale, to be placed at interest for the use of said townships, wherein the reserved lands are situated, whenever such townships shall or may be incorporated under such regulations as may be deemed proper, to report by Bill or otherwise; read and passed, in concurrence.
