Petition of A. Powers and others for the protection of Pickerel in Libby's Pond and its tributary streams was read and referred to the committee on Interior Fisheries
Report on Petition of Peter H. Green and others for a New County was taken up and the question on adopting the following amendments a proposed by Mr. Merrow of Bowdoinham by striking out all after the word that in the 7th line and insert "the Petioners have leave to bring in a Bill" was taken by Yeas and Nays and decided in the negative as follows, Yeas 61 Nays 81 ( see appendix page ) . The report was then accepted in concurrence
