On motion of Mr Bartlett, Ordered, that the Committee on the Militia be directed to inquire into the expediency of so alerting the Militia law, approved March 8, 1834, that persons may be required to do Military duty from the age of twenty one to thirty or thirty five instead of from eighteen to forty - also of reducing the pay to soldiers from Fifty to Twenty five Cents - read and passed.
