On motion of Mr. Emmons, Ordered, that the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to inquire into the expediency of authorizing guardians of insane persons to give deeds in certain cases, wherein their wards, while in sound mind, entered into contracts to give deeds upon the performance thereof, and by reason of insanity are unable to do so, when said contracts are fulfilled by the party or his representative, who is entitled to a deed. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Order from the House of Representatives instructing the Committee on Accounts to report as soon as they may be able, a Roll of the Accounts allowed by them of the Treasurers of the several towns and plantations in this State, and all other accounts allowed by them, for moneys paid and expenses incurred on account of the Militia, since the "Act to organize, govern and discipline the Militia of this State," approved March 8, 1834, went into operation, - read and passed, in concurrence.

In Convention.

Agreeably to assignment the two Houses of the Legislature met in Convention for the purpose of qualifying Counsellors elect. Mr Clark of the Senate was charged with a message, informing Edmund Mann, Edward Williams, Seth Labaree, Daniel Emery, and Benjamin Carr that the two Houses of the
