The House resumed the consideration of the Report of the Committee on the bill regulating attachment on real estate and the subject matter thereof with all the papers connected therewith, was on motion of Mr Jewett of Portland referred to a committee of this House consisting of Messrs Jewett of Portland, Cilley of Thomaston, Holmes of Alfred, Jarvis of Ellsworth & Abbot of Vassalboro and said committee on motion of Mr Holmes was instructed so to amend said bill that its provisions shall extend to the notice of the attachment to the defendant and a penalty on him if he conveys after such notices
