Brigade of the Division to assemble at the Dwelling house of Orchard Cook Esq. Innholder in Newcastle on Tuesday the twenty sixth day of August next, at two of the clock in the afternoon, then and there to elect a Brigadier General to fill the vacancy occasioned by the resignation of B. Genl. Dearborn in the command of the 1. Brigade aforesaid. The senior Officer present will preside at the election, and make report to the Major General as soon as may be thereafter. The Commanding Officers of Regiments will be answerable that this Order is regularly and seasonably communicated to each of the other field officers of the Regiments they respectively com- mand.
