Dear Sir I was in conversation with [Mr?] Dole a day or two since and he thought the time had come When the way was open to you that you mite Give my son Cyrus A. Washburn of Company C 2d Maine Regiment a Commission in some Regiment; you have the letters before you that you Received last Spring in regard to the matter, it would confer a Great favor upon his friends and your Humble Servant
