General Orders Boston June 1st 1789
The Major Generals throughout the Commonwealth are directed to make a Return to the Adjutant General, as soon as may be, of the Names, Dates of Commissions, and places of abode, of all Officers actually in Commission within their respective Divisions together with the Number and Denomination of the Corps to which they severally [page torn].
