[page 134] coming in together- commonly one of them wanted to use the bath tub; the attendant might be away, and he might use the bath tub Q. That was one of the inevitable things; about which no complaint should be made. A. They remedied it; it seems they did this year. Q. How? by changing the construction of the ^building or room? A. Yes, sir. Q. Then it was not the fault of the attendants nor the fault of anybody having the matter in charge? A. Dr. Harlow was willing they should make use of the bath room, in turning down there the stops of the table off the first ward. That is all I complained about. I haven't stated about any other filthiness in the ward. So far as neatness is concerned in the wards I haven't any complaint to make. I haven't made any and I haven't made a remark about it; haven't objected to it at all. Q. So far then as neatness in keeping up the wards in all their departments and all their details, you dont know any reason to complain?
