On motion of Col Atherton of Prospect, Ordered, that a committee of three members be raised to inquire into the expediency of altering or amending so much of an act passed in June last as required that Justices of the Peace shall on or before the first day of February next pay Five dollars on thereafter-wards be disqualified to act under their present commissions with leave to report by bill or otherwise and Messrs Atherton of Prospect, Wellington of Fairfax and Hobbs of Waterborough are appointed said Committee.
