Alden Blossom.] Agreeably to assignment the House proceeded by ballot to the Election of a Major General for the sixth Division, and on counting the ballots it appeared the whole number given in was 127 - necessary to a choice 64 and Brigadier General Alden Blossom having 88 was declared elected on the part of the House - and the Clerk was requested to acquaint the Senate therewith.
