Committee on Engrossed Bills report as duly engrossed Bill "to apportion and assess on the State a tax of Fifty thousand dollars." which passed to be enacted.

Ordered that Messrs Hall of Frankfort, Virgin, & Rollins be a Committee to take into consideration the expediency of placing a sum of money not exceeding $500 in the hands of the Treasurer of this State to be appropriated at the discretion of the Governor to defray contingent expences for which no provision is made by law, with leave to report by bill or otherwise Read and passed.
