[Bill - alter names of persons] Bill "to alter the names of certain persons therein named — was read a third time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

[Bill - Ministerial land in Raymond -] Bill "to incorporate the trustees of the ministerial fund in the town of Raymond - was read a third time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

[pet. of Augustus Peabody & als] Petition of Augustus Peabody & others that administrators appointed before separation and now living in Massachusetts may be authorized to close their administration in relation to all property of their interstates lying in Maine in the same manner they might have done had not the state been divided. read and referred to the committee of new trials. Sent up for concurrence.

[Committee - on law of admeasurement of Board &c] [Shingles] [Shooks] Ordered, that Messrs Gray of Bowdoinham, Riggs of Georgetown, & Prentiss of Paris be a committee to consider the expediency of revising and amending the law for the admeasurement of Boards & regulating the tale of shingles, clapboards, hoops & staves & for other purposes - also of revising the law providing for the inspection of shooks, with leave to report by bill or otherwise - read & passed.
