On Motion of Mr McDonald - Ordered that a message be sent to the Governor informing that Isaac Lane - Joshua Gage - James McLellan and William Chadwick Esquires have been chosen Counsellors for the State of Maine - for the ensuing year - and have appeared and taken and subscribed the oaths required by the Constitution to qualify them to advise the Governor in the executive part of his duty - The above message was communicated to the Governor by Mr McDonald. -
