The Secretary of State came in and laid upon the table a written message from the Governor, which was read and sent down.
 
  
The committee appointed to prepare Rules and Orders for the Senate the present year, made the following report. viz.

That the Rules and Orders which were in force in the year 1822 be had and received as the rules & orders for the present year, except that the work "considered" in the 14th article shall be altered to "reconsidered" and that the names of the persons composing the civil government the present year be inserted therein.

On motion, ordered that 200 copies of the Governor's message be printed for the use of the Legislature. - Read, passed & sent down for concurrence - came up concurred.
