I James Lander on oath do testify and say that I sold Seth W. Smith a quantity of oats, for seed, for the Indians in the spring of 1857. I do not recollect the quantity nor the price he paid me for them. He settled with me and paid me for them & I gave him a receipt which will show for itself.
