[Bills] The following bills were read and committed to the Committee on bills in the second reading - and tomorrow at ten o’clock assigned for the second reading to wit - Bill, passed to be engrossed in the House, to provide for the appointment of a Secretary of State, should that office become vacant - Bill for the relief of poor debtors - and a Bill to regulate the fishery in Dyer’s river and Nickel’s stream -

{Petition committed] The petition of I H Brackett praying that his doings as a Justice of the peace may be made valid - committed in the House to the Committee on New Trials came up for concurrence - Read and committed to the same Committee in concurrence with the House
