Learning that a new appointment to the office of Indian Agent at Oldtown [Old Town], is about to be made, I beg leave to recommend for that office Frederick [Frederic] H Billingham, Esqr., of this city a gentleman of strict integrity and otherwise possessing all the requesite qualifications for a public office
