The House resumed the consideration of the Bill, "in addition to the several acts now in force to organize, govern & discipline the Militia of this State - and after much discussion and adopting sundry amendments on motion, the Bill was referred to Messrs Chase of Livermore, Treat of Bangor, Sweat of Parsonsfield, Humphrey of Gray, Hodgman of Warren, White of Monmouth Allen of Norridgewock, Millikin of Lincolnville & Vance of No 6.
 
  
Petition of Ovia Burrill Junr & als that Lübeck may be made a half shire town, was read & referred to the committee on the incaporation[incorporation] of Towns. Sent up for concurrence.
