Know Ye, that Ebenezer Herrick, of Bowdoinham, in the County of Lincoln, Esqr, on the eighth day of September, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty three, was chosen by the People of this State, legally qualified therefor, a Representative, to represent them in the Congress of the United States of America, for the term by the Constitution of said United States expressed, commencing with the fourth day of March 1823, at the times and places, and in the manner of holding elections, prescribed by our Legislature, agreeably to the powers therein vested by the Constitution aforesaid.
