[engrossed bill amended] The engrossed bill to incorporate the Trustees of the School and Ministerial Fund in Avon, Andover was on motion amended by striking out the word Joseph in the name of Joseph Farrington in the first section and inserting the word John in the place thereof - and ordered that the Secretary request the concurrence of the House therein.

[message &c] A message was received from the House by W. Child, their clerk, that the House concurred in the foregoing amendment.

[Bills passed to be enacted] The following Bills reported by the Committee on Engrossed Bills to be truly engrossed were severally passed to be enacted, by the following titles - to wit -

[Resolves finally passed] The Same committee also reported the following Resolves to be truly engrossed and they where severally passed - viz. Resolve authorizing the Treasurer to borrow forty thousand dollars to be applied to the payment of the debt of the State - Resolve authorizing the State Treasurer to suspend the purchase of a standard of weights and measures.
