[1824] [January 7] Senate January 17, 1824

[Bill for sale Min: & School lands] Bill to provide for the sale and disposition of Ministerial and School Lands was read a 2nd time and ordered to lie on the table, and that two hundred Copies be printed for the use of the Legislature.

[Order for printing Dn. Rose's Report] On motion of Mr. Dunlap, ordered that Secretary procure to be printed two hundred Copies of the Report of Daniel Rose Esq. Superintendant of the State Prison, for the use of the Legislature.

[Report on Petition] Mr. Usher from the Committee on the Petition of Richard Edgarly and others, reports that the Petitioners cause an attested Copy of their Petition with this order thereon to be served upon the Clerks of of the towns of Limington and Limerick, fourteen days at least before the first Monday of February of the present session of the Legislature. Read, accepted and sent down for concurrence, & came up concurred.

[Bill] Bill to incorporate the Trustees of the funds of the first Baptist Society in Surry, was read a 2nd time and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence.

[Petition referred] Petition of Plantation No. 6 in the County of Oxford, was taken from the files, and committed to the Committee on Towns &c. Sent down for concurrence. came up concurred.

[Resolve in favor of Thurston Card] Resolve in favour of Thurston Card was read a 2nd time and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence.
