The Board came to order pursuant to adjournment,
Bill to incorporate the Great Works Manufacturing Company was read a first time and tomorrow, 10 oclock assigned for a second reading.
Remonstrance of Jonathan Page and others against the Kennebec and Androscoggin Canal association was read and sent down,
Bill to establish the Kennebec and Androscoggin Canal association came up from the House in a new draft, was read and committed to Messrs Stebbins, Kimball and Prime with instructions to report tomorrow at 10 oclock in the forenoon,
Resolve in favor of the Cumberland and Oxford Canal Bill altering the term of the Court of Common Pleas in Lincoln County were severally read a second time and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence,
Mr. Churchill from the Committee on Engrossed Bills, reported the following to be truly copied viz Bill authorizing a Lottery for improving the Navigation of the Kennebec River and the same was, on motion, ordered to lie on the table.
Bill to set off Nahum Corson with his estate from Dearborn and annex the same to the town of Waterville and Bill to incorporate the Seven Mile Brook Dam Company came back from the House severally amended
