The Board came to order pursuant to adjournment

Resolve authorizing a loan of money came up from the House and was read a first time, 3 oclock this afternoon assigned for a second reading and in the mean time was committed to Messrs Churchill, Green and Scamman

Bill prescribing the mode of calling the first meetings in towns incorporated within this State, came up for concurrence, referred to the Committee on the Judiciary and the Senate concurred,

Mr. Dunlap, from the Committee reported "Bill additional relative to the appointment of Engine men with amendments and the same was read and passed to be engrossed as amended. Sent down for concurrence,

Bill to prevent resistance to legal process was read a first time and tomorrow 10 oclock assigned for a second reading.

Bill authorizing a Lottery for the benefit of the Thomaston Coal and Mineral Company was read a first time and tomorrow, 10 oclock assigned for a second reading.

Mr. Southwick, from the Committee reported "Bill to incorporate the Thomaston Mechanics Association and the same was read a second time and passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the House
