An order came from the Senate directing the Returns of votes, returned to the Secretary of State in pursuance of a Resolve, submitting to the people of the County of York the two questions “Is it expedient that all the judicial Courts and County offices in that County be held in on place” and if so “Shall that place be Alfred or Kennebunk” be committed to the committee who have under consideration the petition from that County on the subject of the removal of Courts, for concurrence and the House concurred.
