Mr. Witham from the Committee on engrossed Bills, reported the following to be truly copied, viz.-

[Bills enacted] Bill additional to the act prescribing the mode of taking depositions, Bill additional to an act respecting academies incorporated in this State, Bill additional to the several acts directing the method of laying out, & making provision for the repair & amendment of high ways, Bill additional to an act for the admeasurement of Boards, and regulating the tale of Shingles, Clapboards, hoops & staves, and for other purposes, Bill to establish a ministerial fund in the Congregational Society in the town of Sanford,- Bill establishing the Cumberland Cotton Manufacturing Company, Bill additional to an act to prohibit certain officers of Court from buying promissory notes & other demands for the purpose of making a profit in the collection thereof. Bill to incorporate the Master, Warsdens & Members of Freeport Lodge.- Bill authorizing Booms across Saco River from Buxton to Hollis, Bill respecting fisheries in Vinalhaven Bill to incorporate the Portland & Waterford Stage Company Bill to incorporate Cumberland Lodge, Bill additional to the act for the regulation of Innholders, Retailers and Common Victuallers, and Bill to incorporate York Lodge, and they were severally passed to be enacted.- also

[Resolves passed] Resolve for distribution the Laws of the United States & for other purposes, Resolve on the petition of Mellen Chamberlain, and Resolve authorizing Thomas Stevens Jun. Executors of the last will & testament of William Pousland, to convey certain real estate; and they were severally passed.
