Dear Mr. Donnack,

I am returning to you today the original manuscript of Kenneth Roberts' Arundel [underlined]. I am sending it in your original wooden box and by express, insured and prepaid. I am very grateful to you for the loan of this manuscript. After some study of it, I had Doubleday photostat four pages of it: pages 1, 100, 185, and 241 -- as examples of Mr. Roberts' work. These photostats have been added to a collection of materials available through Doubleday, Dunn for the study of Kenneth Roberts' work.
