On motion of Mr. Prime Ordered that the Petition of Joseph D. Jewett and others be taken from the files and laid on the table: Referred to the Committee of Interior fisheries. Sent down for concurrence, and came up concurred.

Ordered that the petition of the town of Hollis be taken from the files and laid on the table: Referred to the Committee on Incorporation of towns: Sent down for concurrence and came up concurred.

Order of the House that so much of the Governors message as relates to the importance of a due attention of the proper officers to the various legal provisions for the suppression of intemperance, be referred to Messrs. Pond, Williams, Thompson, Cobb and Spaulding, with such as the Senate may join. And that said Committee also enquire into the expediency of some further provision by law to promote the same object; with leave to report by Bill or otherwise, came up for concurrence, was read and concurred, and Messrs. Whitney &. Parsons of Y. were joined
