[Order for additional pay to Secretary]

On motion of Mr. McDonald, ordered that the Secretary of the Senate be made up on the pay roll of the Senate, ten additional days in full compensation for filing the papers and making up the records of the Senate after the rising of the Legislature. -

[Report of Com: on James M. Rogers]

The Committee appointed to hear the answer of James M. Rogers to the causes assigned for his removal from every civil and military office he holds under this State, reported that it is expedient to refer the subject to the next Legislature: which report was read, but not accepted: sent down. -

[Resolve in favor of Penobscot Indians]

Resolve in favor of the Penobscot Indians was read twice and passed to be engrossed; sent down for concurrence: came up with an amendment in which the Senate nonconcurred; sent down. -

[order concerning Pay Roll]

On motion of Mr. Dennett, Ordered that Secretary so amend the payroll as to include tomorrow. -

[Message respecting the Militia Bill]

A Message from the House by Mr. Child their Clerk. - "Mr. President, the House of Representatives have amended the engrossed Bill entitled "An Act additional to an act to organize govern and discipline the Militia of this State," by inserting at A. "and so much of said Act as relates to engine men"; in which amendment the Senate concurred. - The
