On motion of Mr. Kelsey, Ordered that the committee on State Lands be directed to inquire into the expediency of authorizing the Land Agent to carry into effect contracts made by the Commissioners of the Land of Massachusetts, with settlers on Township number four, first range, north of the Bingham Kennebec Purchase; and all others, who have settled on lands now belonging to this State, under contracts with said Commissioners; with leave to report by Resolve or otherwise: sent down for concurrence: concurred.
