[Order for printing report of Commissioners & Resolve for assisting the Deaf & Dumb]

further reported that there be printed under the direction of the Secretary of State seven hundred copies of the Report of the Commissioners appointed to visit the American Asylum at Hartford, on the subject of the Deaf and Dumb; and of the Resolve for the assistance of the Deaf and Dumb; and that a copy thereof be distributed to the selectmen of each town, and the assessors of each plantation; also a copy to each of the members of the Legislature, and the residue as the Governor shall direct: Read, accepted and sent down for concurrence: concurred. -

Mr. Stebbins from the same committee reported a Resolve compensating Hon. Prentiss Mellen and Peleg Sprague for certain services,” which was read once and committed, and tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 2d. reading. -

[Bill]

Bill authorizing the Governor and Council to settle accounts with Indian Agents, and for other purposes" was read a 2d. time and passed to be engrossed: sent down for concurrence. -

[Resolve]

Mr. Southwick from the committee, on the Governor’s Message upon that subject, reported a Resolve in favor of Jackson Davis,” which was read once and committed, and tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 2d. reading. -
