Senate February 25th, 1825.

[Resolves passed]

Mr. Churchill from the Committee on engrossed Bills reported the following to be truly copied, viz. -

Resolve designating the place for the meeting of the next Legislature,” Resolve on petition of Joseph Whitney,” Resolve in favor of John K. Smith”, Resolve in favor of Nathaniel Cushman", Resolve in favor of William Tozier,” Resolve respecting certain settlers of the public lands,” and Resolve making valid the doings of the assessors of the town of Waterford,” And they were severally passed.-

Resolve authorizing the Governor to procure the title to the land upon which the State Arsenal is erected, and for other purposes,” passed to be engrossed in the House, came up for concurrence, and was read twice and passed to be engrossed in concurrence. -

[Bills]

Bill to establish the Penobscot Boom Corporation,” came up with an amendment, in which the Senate concur and pass. the same to be engrossed. -

Mr. Holland from the committee on engrossed Bills, reported a Bill to apportion and assess on this State a tax of $45,106.84 cts.” to be truly copied and it was passed to be enacted. -
