Sawtell. n.d To the Govenors Council of the town of Madisom having been long acquainted with Richard Sawtell Esquire Sheriff of the County of Somerset, have no hesitation in saying that in our opinion the said Sawtell has discharged the duties of said office faithfully + impartially- but we believe it would be for the interest of the County that he should be continuous in office and we believe his reappoint- ment would meet the wishes of a majority of the inhabitants of this County Nath.
