Petition of William Tozier for a pension, was read & referred to the committee on applications from sick & wounded soldiers. Sent up for concurrence.

Petition of Jonathan Trask & als that the sentence of a Court Martial upon Capt. David Hopkins may be reversed - read & referred to the Committee on Militia and Military affairs. Sent up for concurrence.

[Lafayette]

The Committee on the subject of Genl La Fayette's expected visit to this State, reported a Resolve - The report accepted in Senate, came down for concurrence - and the House unanimously concurred & ordered 1000 copies to be printed and distributed, five to each member of the Legislature

Resolve relating to Genl Lafayette - - was read twice and unanimously passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Petition of Trustees of Bangor Academy for aid, was read & referred to the Committee on Literature and Literary Institutions. Sent up for concurrence.

Ordered that the Committee on States Land be directed to enquire as to the expediency of giving authority to the Land Agent of this State, in concurrence with the Agent on the part of Massachusetts, to sell timber on the undivided lands; read & passed. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill to incorporate the General Hospital of Maine, was read once and 300 copies ordered to be printed.

The Committee on the pet. of Aaron Cummings, Agent for town of Albany, reported a reference to the Committee on State Lands - The report accepted in Senate came down for concurrence - and the House concurred.
