The House reconsidered their vote, refusing a final passage to the engrossed Resolve for the benefit of Waterville College & also the vote passing the Resolve to be engrossed - The House then amended the Resolve to be engrossed - The House then amended the Resolve so as to grant three thousand dollars only to said college payable annually the first payment to be made on the first day of April next - and passed the Resolve to be re-engrossed as thus amended- and the Clerk communicated the same to the Senate by message and requested their concurrence.
