The committee on engrossed bills reported as duly engrossed Resolve for making the State road from Baring to Houlton plantation near Baskahegan - which was finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolve for providing Public Buildings for the use of the State was read once and Wednesday next at ten oclock assigned for further considering the subject

Report of the committee to whom was referred an order to enquire into the expediency of providing by law that the Treasurers of the several Counties shall publish annually in some newspaper a detailed statement of all the receipts & expenditures of their respective Counties during the year next preceeding the time of such publication, requesting to be discharged from the further consideration of the subject, came from the Senate accepted for concurrence & the House concurred.

Report on the petition of Benjamin Weston & als, granting an order of Notice, came from the Senate accepted for concurrence and the House concurred.

The order of 22nd inst. appointing a special committee of the House to be joined by the Senate to inquire into the expediency of repealing the act of March 7th 1826, exempting certain goods & Chattels from attachment & execution, came from the Senate nonconcurred, and the subject matter thereof referred to the committee on the Judiciary for concurrence - and the House concurred.

Bill - to incorporate the Proprietors of Commercial Hall, was read a second time & tomorrow at ten oclock assigned for a third reading

Bill additional act to provide for the Education of Youth, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed as amended
