Order of the House of Representatives that Messrs Barrett Vance and Bridgham with such as the senate may join be a committee to inquire into the expediency of altering the Laws relating to the taxation of property, with leave to report by bill or otherwise was read and passed in concurrence and Messrs Hath- away and Balknam were joined. On motion by Mr Cushman Ordered that the Committee on Banks and Banking be instructed to consider whether any and what alterations ought to be made in the Act entitled "An additional Act respecting Banks", passed the last session of the Legislature and that they have leave to report by Bill or other- wise.
