Bill additional to an act to promote the sale & settlement of public lands - - in addition to an act respecting pounds & impounding beasts going at large or damage feasant - - to change the names, of certain persons - were severally passed to be enacted. Sent up for concurrence

Resolve for the payment of Engrossing Clerks & others, came from the Senate, that body noncurring [nonconcurring] the amendments of the House between B & C & insisting upon their former votes - The House also insist upon their vote amending the Bill.

Ordered, that the Clerk of the House be made up seventeen days additional pay on the Pay Roll for completing the records & filing the papers after the close of the present session - read & passed.

Bill in addition to an act to secure rent to lessors of house lots, came down with the names of Messrs Dunlap, Scammon & Churchill proposed as Conferees on the part of the Senate. - The House appointed on their part Messrs McCobb of Phipsburg, Goodenow of Alfred & White of Monmouth.

Resolve directing the Attorney General to institute a process of quo warranto against the Proprietors of Cathance Bridge - was read & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Resolve for the payment of Engrossing Clerks & other persons came from the Senate that body concurring with the House in their amendment, and further amending the same at O & P - and the House concurred.

The Conferees appointed on the part of the House to meet Conferees on the part of the Senate, to consider the subject of disagreement
