Reports on the petitions of Sttephen Kimball in behalf of Penobscot Canal Corp. - of Cornelius Thompson - - Simeon Pease & William Towle - - William Fitch & als - - Enoch Prebble & al. - granting leave for Bills, came from the Senate accepted for concurrence – and the House concurred.

Reports on the petitions of Josiah Towle - - Perez Ellis & als - - John Burnham & als - granting leave to withdraw, came from the Senate, accepted for concurrence – and the House concurred.

Bill – in addition to an act to incorporate the Canal Bank - was read a 2d time & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading.

An order came from the Senate for concurrence, directing the report of the Committee on the subject of locating the Courts in the County of York made at the last Legislature, be taken from the files of the Senate & placed in the hands of the Committee who have that subject under consideration - & the House concurred.

Bill to incorporate the Proprietors of Eastern River Bridge, was read a 1st & 2d time and tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading.

Bill to incorporate the Proprietors of the Central Burying Ground in Waldoboro’, which passed this House 18th inst, came from the Senate in a new draft for concurrence – and the House passed the same to be engrossed as taken into said new draft in concurrence.
