The undersigned, Inhabitants of Readfield, Co. of Kennebec – (Legal voters) – Respectfully pray your honorable body To instruct our Senators, & request our Representatives in congress to use their influence in favor of the immediate abolishment of Slavery in the District of Columbia & territories – and the Slave Trade between the States
