Bill - regulating the appointment of overseers of Houses of Correction, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.
The committee on the Judiciary reported in a new draft Bill - an additional act providing for the government of the State Prison & for the punishment of convicts - and 300 copies were ordered to be printed for the use of the Legislature.
