Messrs. Lowney of Sebec, Bartlett of Harmony, & Caldwell of Anson have leave of absence after today during the remainder of the session.

The Committee on engrossed Bills reported as duly engrossed, Bill - an additional act for regulating Ferries - establishing the town line between Bristol & Bremen

- to incorporate the Cumberland Stage Manufacturing Company were severally passed to be enacted. Sent up for concurrence. 

The same committee reported as duly engrossed, Resolve in favor of Joseph Young - - making an appropriation for the Warden of the State Prison - in favor of George Sawtelle - - for the admission of Roscoe G. Greene to practice Law in the Court of Common Pleas & for other purposes - which were severally finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.

The Committee to whom was referred on the 27th of Feby. last the report of the joint committee on the order of 25th Feby. last in relation to the subject of dispensing with the attendance in Court of Female Witnesses &c reported that the same be amended as on slip annexed marked P so as to give leave for a Bill. Sent up for concurrence.

The House nonconcurred the Senate in their amendment of the Report of the joint committee on the petition of Josiah Crosby & others, and accepted the original report granting leave for a Resolve giving each Soldier two dollars and each commissioned officer three dollars. Sent up for concurrence.
