Bill repealing the act to annex lot number seven in the thirteenth range, in township number four to Dixfield, reported by the committee of this House to whom the subject was referred, was read 1st & 2nd time & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3rd reading.

Resolve in favor of Abijah Wines & others, reported in this House by the committee on State Lands, was read once & Monday next at 11 oclock assigned for a 3rd reading.

Agreeably to assignment the House proceeded to take a second ballot for a Senator from this State in the Congress of the United States, on their part. The whole number given in was One hundred an forty eight - necessary to a choice seventy five - Albion K Parris Esqr had seventy eight and he was declared elected on the part of the House on a second ballot.

Bill - additional to the act to incorporate the Thomaston Bank was read a third time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.
