[Committee to ascertain when the Legislature may have a recess]

On motion of Mr. Green, Ordered that Messrs. Green and Churchill, with such as the House may join, be a Committee to take into consideration when it will be proper for the Legislature to hold two sessions each day; and also when the Legislature may have a recess: sent down for concurrence: concurred and Messrs. Bowtell, Russell and Cummings were joined by the House. -

Mr. Ripley from a Committee on an order upon that subject, reported a Resolve appropriating certain lands to create a fund to meet the expenses incident to the Militia,” which was read once and committed, and tomorrow at 11 oclock assigned for a 2d. reading. -
