Road in Freeport] The Bill entitled "An act authorizing the Court of Sessions for the County of Cumberland to lay out a road over a Creek or arm of the Sea in Freeport" was read the second time, amended and passed to be Engrossed as amended. Sent down for concurrence. [Bills and Resolves passed to be Engrossed] The Committee on Engrossed Bills reported the following Bills to be truly copied from the Originals, vis: "An act to annex Thompson Pond Plantation to Otisfield and Poland". "An act to incorporate the Bangor Literary Club". "An act in addition to the several Acts for the preservation of Fish in Penobscot River and Bay and the several Streams that empty into the same". "An act additional to an act to establish a Court of Common Pleas". "An act ceding to the United States the Jurisdiction of a certain tract of land in the Town of Boothbay". and the said Bill severally passed to be Enacted, in concurrence. The same Committee reported the Following Resolves to be truly copies from the Originals; vis: "Resolve in favor of Carey, Lea and Carey". "Resolve authorizing the Adjutant General to distribute copies of the abstract of Infantry tactics and System of Exercise and instruction of Field Artillery". "Resolve respecting Musical Instruments", in concurrence. The foregoing Bill and Resolves, were, this day, presented to the Governor for his approbation and signature. [Pet. of N.
