[Resolves passed to be enacted] The Committee on Engrossed Bills reported the following Bill to be truly copied from the original; viz: "An additional act establishing Circuit Courts Martial" and the same passed to be Enacted in concurrence. The same Committee reported the following Resolves to be truly copied from the originals; viz: "Resolve in favor of Samuel Haines and for other purposes". "Resolve in favor of Moses Tibbets". Resolve providing compensation for the Draftsman" and the same finally passed, in concurrence. The foregoing Bill and Resolves were, this day, presented to the Governor for his approbation and signature. [Mr. Hinds' Protest] Mr. Hinds had leave to read and lay on the table a Protest signed by Messrs. Asher Hinds, Ebenezer Hilton, Syms Gardner, James Drummond, Ebenezer S. Phelps, Elijah Morse, John Bodwell, Abijah Usher Jr. and Nathan Appleton.
