[Bill apportioning State Tax] Bill apportioning a State Tax was returned from the House amended by inserting in the schedule under Penobscot County the words and figures "Lincoln 6..00", change the sum in the title so as to read "Fifty thousand Dollars", and changing the footings to correspond with these amendments. The Senate so far recede from their former vote as to concur with the House in passing this Bill to be engrossed as amended.

[Bill respecting duties postponed] Bill repealing part of an Act establishing the duties to be paid by certain officers therein named was read a second time and, on motion, indefinitely postponed.
