Ordered that the committee on so much of the Governor's Message as relates to Internal Improvements be instructed to inquire into the expediency of requesting the cooperation of the State of New Hampshire & Vermont in adopting measures & making appropriations for improving the road leading from this State to the States of New Hampshire & Vermont - through the notch of the White Hills - and that said Committee also inquire what appropriation if any it is expedient for this State to make in furtherance of the aforesaid object. Sent up for concurrence.
